July 7, 2010 - Deauville - Day 2

Day 2 started out with - what else? - the beach! This time we hit Trouville. Prior to the beach, I hit an outdoor market and found these awesome swimsuit bottoms for Chase. We called them Baby Frenchie Hot Pants.

After the beach and naps, we got cleaned up for dinner. Chase checked out the surroundings from our balcony.

And sister joined him. The surroundings are very normandy - as they should be.

For dinner, we went on a little adventure. We took the bus to Honfleur, which is a gorgeous town on the mouth of the Seine.

We thought we would attempt a nice family photo in front of the harbor...

And success!!!! This might be wear Nana started saying "There is a bird on Papa's head!" to get the kids attention and get them smiling.

We walked around the town a little bit and cut through a tiny alley.

Nana bought Papa this hat for "gardening." Papa proceeded to wear it everywhere for the rest of the trip. Normal???

Chasey likes his Papa just the way he is! As do we all!
