October 24, 2009 - Hudson Preschool Parents Halloween Party

We finally attended out first function with the Hudson Preschool Parents Group - the Halloween Party. We had lots of fun playing different games and doing art projects.

Sydney and I work on decorating a pumpkin.


Daddy took the kids around to get snacks - Of course, Sydney had to check out her loot.


Our beautiful little witch. She said she is a bad witch - but I don't think so!

October 14, 2009 - Bath Night

Sydney said, "Mama, I want to wear the towel in my hair like Nana does!"


Chase acted like he would wear it, then got too silly!

October 13, 2009 - Preschool Family Night

I should have taken a lot more pictures, but I didn't. We had Sydney's Preschool Family Open House a little while ago and it was so fun. She showed us her classroom and all the toys she plays with. Chase got to play in there, too. We met all of her new friends. They put together a little singing show for us, and then at the end of theopen house - we went into the indoor recreation area for some fun and snacks!

Sydney shows us her favorite play structure to climb on when its too cold or rainy to go outside on the playground.


Good thing they have a hoop there!!!


Chase's favorite part of the evening - the snack. They had little tables set out with muffins and apple juice. Let's just say, if Chase wasn't on Will's lap, he was loitering around the snack tables.. Our little guy likes to eat.

October 4, 2009 - Heritage Farms

We hit ANOTHER pumpkin patch after the first so that we could do more kids' activities.

Even though we know Chase is not a fan of cut out posing, we decided to try it again... which resulted in one unhappy mummy!


A stage full of hay to run around on... fun fun!

We also hit a mini corn maze and got a little lost.

And last but not least... some measurement pictures. We will hopefully, be getting official measurement pictures from our pumpkin patch back in Coloma on Halloween, but just in case, wanted to measure the kids.

Syd is coming in at 42". Yay Sydney! (I think she is unsure of the giant silly laughing pumpkin next to her).


Chase.. didn't want to be propped up next to the pumpkin.. but looks like just under 34".

Hey, I have an idea. Let's get both kids standing near the measurement... um, never mind...

October 4, 2009 - Szalay's Farm

We had a beautiful fall Sunday morning here in Ohio, so we decided to hit the pumpkin patch.

Hey - that guy's not for sale!!!!


And neither is she!


Syd was fascinated with these pumpkins.


I think the top pumpkin is the cutest!


That is the face of someone who does NOT want to be in a cut out.

September 29, 2009 - Slipper Season

Now that its getting chilly out, the kids were finally able to wear their new slippers!

At first Chase was a little hesitant to wear his around, but once he saw Sydney was doing it - he finally started walking in them.
