August 8, 2009 - Sprinklers

Sydney loves when Papa turns on the sprinklers! She was able to get S&S playing in them as well when she had the ball out there.


Run! Run!


Here it comes!


Chase enjoys all of Papa and Nana's lawn ornaments... he is unsuspecting of any psrinkler activity in this photo.


But... from this next photo you can see the sprinklers got him! (Thanks to Papa turning them on in Chase's area)


However, sprinklers do not deter a determined boy from playing with his new yard discoveries!

August 7, 2009 - Chase's First Haircut

Chase got his hair cut for the first time - by Janice Abnet - who I believe, cut my, Bryn, and Katie's hair for the first time (and Sydney!)

Unlike Sydney, Chase sat in his Papa's lap for a haircut. He did not want to be alone for the traumatic event of curls getting clipped.


Is he mad at me that we are trimming him up? No, just tired from his nap!


Look at how long his hair is when you stretch out the curls!



Settled down and getting "his curls cut" as Sydney likes to say...

But, as expected, he was happy to do so with his Papa.

August 2, 2009 - Papa Visit

Yes, this is a pic of Papa visiting our new house. No, I have no pics of the new house during his visit for like 4 or 5 days - just these two pics.. But they are good and show how happy the kids are when Papa visits.

Since Will was out of town during the move, Papa came to help out. He brought some new patio furniture and let the kids sit on it.


Wondering how I could get them to smile so big for the picture? Look at Papa's foot in the top photo, he is spinning them around and around! Happy kids :)

August 2008 - Remember When..

Remember when Chasey didn't have hair???


And when all three babies could fit in the crib, lying down the short way?!


And Sydney wore pigtails for the first time?

July 11, 2009 - Hanging with the Blausers

We went to Hudson, our new hood, to visit with the Blausers. Susan was up visiting her sister Lauren, and Mary Carol was also there. We had lots of fun seeing everyone - and Sydney had a great time playing with Mija and Sofija.

July 26, 2009 - Can you feel the love?

Someone has fit in quite well with his surrogate family for the week. This was Pepito's last day at our house, and he enjoyed bonding with the family in the sunroom.


Pepito was very pleased to have Will be his male figure for the week.


Love is in the air.

July 24, 2009 - Naughty Dogs

Our little houseguest, Pepito, was found in our backyard rolling in something very gross. Luckily, this happened while our kids were upstairs napping. I put on rubber gloves and carried him inside and gave him a bath.

He is not pleased...


I'm sorry I was naughty.


Sophie was spotted near the scene of the crime, so she was given a bath, too.


Sammy is guilty by association.


And a slightly naughty girl. This is what happens when I leave Sydney unsupervised for a couple of minutes with a bottle of baby lotion...

July 23, 2009 - Dog Bed or Kid Bed?

July 22, 2009 - Pepito Sitting

Our friend Marilyn went on vacation and we got to babysit Pepito! Pepito loves hanging out at our house, but is not used to toddler rules! Since he is not used to toddlers napping and likes to bark and play at that time, he has to be on a leash. Sydney was more than happy to pal around with him while Chase napped.


I guess this isn't so bad.... I like this kid okay...


Wait, I like her a lot. She lays with me on the couch - good stuff!


Oh Pepito, I need to watch Spongebob.. you keep chilling, and no barking!
