We had a great time in Paris, but it is time to go. We are moving on to Deauville, France - which is Normandy in the northern part of the country.
One of the most difficult things we had to do was maneuver around with the stroller when we went from town to town. Paris' subway system was extremely inaccessible. Luckily, in this station, where the photo was taken, there was an escalator. However, numerous times, my dad and I had to carry the stroller up stairs, with the kids in it. The only time we had the stroller was when we had all of our luggage, too. So, it was very difficult to manage everything.
The best thing about this photo is the teeny tiny elevator next to the escalator. Yeah, our stroller wasn't fitting in there!
We finally hit the train ride to Deauville, and settled in beautifully. Thankfully, we have a personal DVD player. What a life saver for the kids on a long trip!
