More Bathtime

Our boy really enjoys baths...

And the attention he is getting in this bath

Lily decides to come back in for a little bit...

But ultimately, she would rather be wrapped up in her Mama's arms.

December 26, 2008 - Bathtime!

How many Martins does it take to bathe 4 kids?

The babies are all happy with their water toys.

Lily and Syd hanging out - enjoying their dip.

Chase, post dunk, enjoys his Auntie Marcela's safe hands.

Addy loves to splash! Sydney was not pleased!

Merry Christmas from the Babies!

I am starting to sense a pattern of Nana and Sydney's quality time together!

And a pattern of Syd's crazy hair when she is hanging out with Nana!

Syd observes the dough turning into yummy cookies!

Syd likes the cookies right from the oven - when the chocolate is still melty - and MESSY!

She helped Nana make her famous Christmas Cookies.

Christmas Pics Outtakes..

It is SO difficult to get a good pic of a 2.5 yr. old and a 9 mo. old. We had many many outtakes from our recent photo session... these are two of my faves!

Sydney - put your arm around your brother... Okay, not his head, his body! Okay, take your fingers out of your mouth! Chasey - smile!!!!

Okay, whoever is over there, please get behind me so the kids will look at the camera! And please stop waving your hands to get Syd and Chase's attention! You are making Sydney wave!!!

Visit to Chicago

This past weekend, our family went to Chicago to visit Will's family. We all had a great time and really enjoyed our trip.
Sydney calls Will's mom Grandma Bev and Nana Boo Boo, so for the purposes of this entry, I will call her Grandma Bev, although we never know which name she will call her!

Chase and his Grandma Bev hanging out - striking a perfect pose together.

And Chase showing his Grandma what a little ham he is :)

Wait! What's wrong with this picture? Why is Sydney laying sprawled out in the snow! Wipeout!

Oh no! Wipeout #2!

Papa teaches Sydney that you just need to dust yourself off and try again!

Breakfast With Santa

Today Sydney and Chase had Breakfast with Santa. We went to the Moorsbridge Country Club, and the breakfast was sponsored by the public library. At the start, everyone was in a good mood.

Chase is all excited, as usual, checking out the sights and sounds of the Christmas room.

Sydney is also in a good mood- she really enjoyed her pancakes and sausage.

Chase went to see Santa first - he did very well. This was his first ever picture with Santa :)

Once we got closer to Santa, Sydney started to get scared. She did not want to leave her Papa to go sit on Santa's lap.....

However, I think "Cry Pictures" with Santa are cute, so I made her sit on his lap.

Later, we had the kids pose by the Christmas tree - Chase was SUPER excited about that!

And Sydney had a cute momeny with the ornament. Overall, a great time with the kids this morning :)
