We took the kids to see Toy Story 3 on Father's Day. It was Chase's first movie and Sydney's second movie. They both did great and we all enjoyed the movie.

June 12, 2010 - S'mores on the Deck

June 11, 2010 - Gardening with Papa

The kids love to spend time with their Papa in the garden when they visit in Michigan.

Sydney is a good little helper!  She is helping Papa plant a new flat that they just got from the nursery.


She even has her own little cushion.


Papa explains how it is done.. while another little helper listens in from the deck.

June 10, 2010 - Ky, Devin, Stacey, Jodi -> 2.0

We had an evening BBQ at Devin's house while in Michigan and all  our kids got to paly together as well.

Ethan, Jodi's new baby, is too little to play with the big kids and would rather be in mommy's arms.

June 10, 2010 - Strawberry Picking

We took advantage of our visit to Michigan by visiting the Strawberry fields in Paw Paw.  The kids had so much fun picking eating strawberries.  Chase was literally covered in red on his face, neck and chest.  Can't blame him.  Sydney also enjoyed picking the flowers in the strawberry patch.

Not only does our little guy pick the strawberries from the plant, he will pick them right out of your basket if you're not looking!


Post strawberry feast, Sydney picks some flowers for... guess who???  Nana!!!!

June 4, 2010 - Summer Days

JUst a couple of random summer days pictures.

I was in the garage looking for something and Chase was outside with me. Next thing I knew, he was in the jogging stroller... but not where he should sit.. he was in the cargo section. Fit perfect, too!


We went to the Akron Zoo for a short visit and Sydney posed in one of the penguins. We couldn't get Chase to do the same.


They love the penguin exhibit :)

May 22, 2010 - Domino's Farm

While we were visiting the Martin cousins, we were able to take the kids to Domino's Farms in Ann Arbor.  This is a great farm for little ones, especially.  And, lucky us, there were lots of farm babies that had just been born. Sydney and Chase checking out some of the rabbits. Chase going for his pony ride. Chase checking out the rabbit again. Sydney petting the little guy.  There were lots of different kinds of farm animals, but I guess the rabbits were all I got on photo!  Sorry!
