February 12, 2010 - Sayonara Sammy Jr.

Sammy Jr. has been adopted. He is leaving in less than two weeks. He is going to a great home in Martha's Vineyard. Hopefully, he won't miss the cuddles here too much.

He liked laying with the kids while they watched Dora.




And his favorite spot was in front of the heater in the kitchen. He enjoyed sharing that space with his foster brother.


Why does he have to go? I will miss my play buddy!


I don't know if I can forgive you, Mom...


Is it because he chewed on stuff he was't supposed to?


And when he got in trouble, he would hide under the bed?


Trust me, he was being a good boy under the bed... sigh...........

January 31, 2010 - Bananas visits the Wallers

Sydney's preschool class has a stuffed animal mascot named Bananas. Every couple of weeks one of the students gets to take Bananas home for a week. The visit is documented with pictures and made into a scrapbook page. Sydney just had her week with Bananas and had so much fun!

Sydney thought Bananas might like to lay in front of the heat with the dogs, since he is an animal. I think Sydney also enjoyed laying in front of the heat - although Sammy Jr doesn't seem to keen on the company.

Later, Sydney took Bananas downstairs to play in her awesome ball pit!

Then Bananas got to watch while Sydney and Chase put together a couple of Mr. Potato Head Dolls.

Rollerskating in the house! Only for little monkeys and little stuffed monkeys!

January 30, 2010 - Snowman Ball - Video Alert!

Sydney and Chase went to the Hudson Preschool Parents party - Snowman Ball. Oh my gosh - it was so much fun. Crafts, dancing, snacks. The kids were beside themselves. Check out the videos at the end. Gotta love Sydney dancing!

January 2, 2010 - Nana and Papa's House

We spent New Year's weekend in Kalamazoo and had a very lowkey time. Chase enjoyed playing with his some of his Christmas presents from his Nana Boo Boo and Uncle Mark and Uncle Rick.

December 26, 2009 - Day after Christmas Run

Nothing like a good post Christmas run... Its a family affair. The weather was so beautiful we couldn't resist.
