Will was home for the weekend and Chase found a new use for his chair - climbing apparatus!


Look Mom and Dad - all I have to do is grab right here and I can stand!


He has also been using the tent a lot. This is what I walked in on this evening. And his butt hung out there for a good 15 minutes while he played with toys inside. He and Syd love to play in there.

Green Eggs and ... Turkey Sausage?

One of Syd's favorite books is Green Eggs and Ham. So I decided to make her some one morning.. but with a twist. Green Eggs and Turkey Sausage!

However, she wouldn't touch them.

I do not like Green Eggs and Turkey Sausage. I do not like them Mommy I am.

And so everyone knows, when we try to take pictures, half of them turn out like this - a Boston Terrier butting into the picture.

First Time in the Snow!

Papa and I took Chase outside to play in the snow for the first time today. He enjoyed it a lot - and Sydney loved going out - as always! She learned how to make snow angels today with her Papa. We have cute little Sydney snow angels all over the yard.

Yay Mama - pull me faster! I like this white stuff!


Sydney had some time with Papa in the big girl sled, but after last time's falling episode - she is not so sure about sledding.


In fact, she is not a fan of even sitting in the sled because she thinks she might fall out. Poor Syd!


But hey, she is good at pulling! What a good big sister!


Sydney is not strong enough to pull this guy and his favorite little dog though!

Post Bathtime and Being a Big Sister

Someone enjoyed his bathtime and is being a little cutie for his Nana afterwards.


Thanks for the bath, Nana!


And Sydney is really starting to have fun playing with her little brother. I suspect there is much more of this to come.
She is putting a tiara on his head.

New Milestone for Chase!

So... I set Chase down in the living room so that I could put Syd down for her nap. I go upstairs, and hear some banging downstairs. I immediately get back downstairs and Chase is nowhere to be found. He is a fast little guy! He crawled through the kitchen into the mudroom and made his way to the.......

Dog Water Bowl! Its a milestone in our household - the first time the kid gets to the dog water bowl and dumps it all over themselves. Congratulations Chase!


Uh-oh - I am caught!!!


But I am having so much fun!


And though this picture does NOT do his little locks justice - Chase is getting the most beautiful little blond curls on the back of his head. He can get away with anything while he is sporting those curls!

Sesame Street Live

Sydney got to go see Sesame Street Live this past weekend with our neighbors the Fritz.

She and Alex are giddy in their seats watching all the characters on stage.


The guys took care of the little ones the whole time.


And surprisingly, the little ones got into it as well! They are mesmerized by all of the Sesame Street characters!

Adventures of Chase

Last night I let Chase try some Semolina Pasta for the first time.. and I let him eat it with his hands - boy did he have fun (making a mess)!


This morning, he wanted to play with his brother. Sammy is starting to bring Chase his ball.


What does Chase want to be when he grows up? A referee like Papa?


Hey Papa, Now you just have to show me how to put my hands in the shape of a "T."

We hope Auntie Katie is feeling okay after her Lasik Surgery today!

Sydney wanted to model her shirt that Katie and AJ got her on their honeymoon.

Chase decided to break out his Camo gear for Boot Camp - we are working on his balance...


He decided to try out the couch and met up with his Boston brother Sammy.. Of course the first thing Sammy does when Chase reaches up there - lick, lick, lick,......


Even though Chase doesn't know how to drink from the sippy cup, he still loves to play with the straw..


Meanwhile, Big Sis Syd patiently awaits Nana's yummy cooking!
