Upon arrival into Deauville, the first thing we did was hit the beach. It was a short walk through town to the famous beach. The weather was gorgeous - as was the beach itself. Sydney and Chase's first time in salt water. They were thrilled to find lots of shells and saw a lot of jellyfish on the shore.
Just relaxing.... So nice to just chill after being super tourists in Paris.
After the beach, we cleaned up and crossed the bridge into Trouville, Deauville's neighboring town. They are very similar.. although I think Trouville has better restaurants, and Deauville has better beaches.
We went to a very good seafood restaurant whose specialty was mussels. Papa ordered a giant bowl of them.

While he seemed skeptical at first, trust me, this was one of the highlights of our Deauville trip.
He ate mussles over and over again. He would pull them out of the shell and throw the shells in the big pot.

After dinner, we thought we would try to get a nice picture of the kids on the bridge connecting Deauville and Trouville...
