Backyard Fun

Chase went in the swing on the swingset for the first time today. He really enjoyed it. Look at those baby blues!


Sammy and Sophie enjoying the backyard as well... Sammy loves playing with his ball - and Sophie likes to chill and munch on sticks.


Unfortunately, Sydney was playing on the swing - swinging on her belly ( Papa taught her that) and fell forward, which produced a nice goose egg on her forehead.


But, she bounced back and was happy to swing again!

August 23, 2008 - Bathtime Fun!

Chase loves his bathtime.. but tonight we had a special treat...


Bathtime with Sydney!!! Chase and Syd took their first bath together. As you can tell, Chase was thrilled - as was Syd.


Sydney helps Mama wash Chase, and he loves every minute of it. What a good big sister!

Petoskey Trip

We went up to Petoskey for a family vacation last week - while Will recovered from surgery. We went with Bryn and Al's family, and Nana and Papa Martin. We were very busy with the babies, but managed to do lots of fun things! We did a triathlon, rode our bikes to Charlevoix, ran to Bay Harbor, went across the Mackinac Bridge, and so much more. We had a house on a lake and Syd got to play everyday - and so did the dogs. It was a lot of fun.


Chase had fun hanging out in the kiddie pool with Lily.


We took the kids to Pond Hill Farm to check out the animals. While Sydney visited the pigs, cows, and goats, the babies hung out in their strollers.


I think we have a future triathlete!!!!!!


I took Sydney for a little putz around the lake on the jet ski. Sophie came, too!

August 14, 2008 - Will's Surgery

Will had surgery last Thursday, and Chase and I went to the hospital with him for the procedure. Sydney stayed with her Nana and Papa Martin.

After surgery, all Will needed was to see his baby boy and that made him feel better.


Chase also got to see his Nana Dudycz!

Chase's First Solid Food!

Tonight was Chase's first meal of solid food - Rice Cereal with Mama's Milk. He is 5.5 months now and I have been noticing him watching us while we eat, so I figured it was time to start him on some cereal. I cannot even believe how well he did. As soon as I brought the spoon to his mouth he opened up wide. This kid likes to eat!

Chase knows what is in store - he is so excited to try some food!


C'mon Mom, I am hungry! I am eating this bib - let's go!!!

Happy Dairy Day to Allison!

Since Allison had to go out of town for school for a few days, I promised to take a couple of pics for her - so that she can get a Lily and Addy fix while away. L&A will be under Bryn and Papa's care while Al is away - and I am sure the girls will have lots of fun!

Baby Cousins Pictures!

While in town for the wedding, we stayed at Bryn and Allison's house and we were able to get some new Baby Cousin pics!
Chase is now 5 1/2 months and Lily and Addy are almost 5 months.

August 9, 2008 - Julie's Wedding

We went to my cousin Julie's wedding today in Fenton, Michigan, and it was beautiful. We were finally able to get a great family picture there as well - Grandchildren Galore!


And a great Waller family picture! There is no mistaking whose kids these are!


Hey, whats wrong with this picture? How about a 10 hour hike on a stress fracture - mmm-kay...


I would say this little guy favors his Daddy! My two favorite blond hair, blue eyed men!

Uncle Mark came to visit the kids for a week. Syd and Chase had so much fun hanging out. Mark also was found to have the magic touch for rocking Chase to sleep - a valuable asset to have!

Chase loves it in here - very entertaining for a growing baby!


He loves it when his big sister stops by to check him out. Look at his face light up!


Sydney decides to play a game of footsies with Chase and he loves that even more!


They play til Chase gets fussy.. and once he is rescued from the Exersaucer, Sydney moves in.

August 3, 2008

On Sunday, we went to Lake Michigan. The water was absolutely perfect, and there was a nice little path down to the beach so that we could all enjoy it.

Chase LOVES any water - pool, lake, bath - whatever!

Later - after everyone had their baths, Chase went into the crib to relax with the mobile. Of course, Sydney wanted to join him. She wasn't in the mood for relaxing though.

Sydney's First Race!

Sydney had her first race today - the 1k Fun Run at the Glad-Peach Festival in Coloma. I competed in the 10k, but was much more excited to run after my race with Sydney in the Fun Run. She did a great job - and looked super cute with her race number on. She didn't quite understand it, and stopped a few times to pick up rocks or play in the grass, but for the most part chugged along side me.
