December 25, 2010 - Christmas Morning Craziness

We had so much fun Christmas morning - and enjoyed sharing it with Nana, Papa, Katie and AJ.  The kids were beside themselves.  They were so cute when they would open a gift and yell what it was in an excited voice and then run around and show people their new gift.  Chase especially liked bringing his gifts to Papa.  What a great morning - the pictures speak for themselves.


































Later on, the Martin cousins came over, and Sydney and Lily had fun hanging out in Sydney's new tent.


Chase thanks Marcela for his gift :)  Marcela is very happy to get a hug from her little love!

December 24, 2010 - Ice Skating and Santa Preparations

The kids, Papa, and I enjoyed an evening of ice skating on Christmas Eve...  There was hardly anyone there AND it was free!  It was so much fun and Papa learned to ice skate.  The funny thing is that he thinks he is as good as Sydney - but I beg to differ.  Wish I was better able to post videos on here.

December 24, 2010 - Waking up to make... cookies? And a Santa sighting...

Sydney and Chase woke up to Nana baking on Christmas Eve - not a bad thing to wake up to!  They even got to help.


After they were done preparing the cookies, they hung tight and made sure they cooked correctly in the oven.


After that batch was done, they started working on sugar cookies (my favorite!)


Making cookies with Nana is a very enjoyable activity for our kiddos :)


Okay, back to work....


After the kids went down for a nap, there was a Santa sighting!




Apparently, Santa is a runner, too!


The people of Hudson loved seeing someone in Santa gear running around on Christmas Eve.. many honks and waves were given.  Nice way to brighten everyone's spirits :)

December 23, 2010 - Snowman with Papa

While Will and I were out car shopping, Sydney and Chase enjoyed a fun snow day with their Papa - making their first snowman of the season...


Papa puts the finishing touch on the snowman's face.  I would like to note that he used the dog's prescription vitamins for eyes and the buttons were made of kibble..


All done!

Thanks Papa!  If the deer come to visit, as least they can get their fill of glucosamine and kibble for the season.

December 22, 2010 - Cuddle Time

Syd and Chase had a babysitter over this morning and she made them a nice blanket fort. It stayed up most of the day. Around nap time, they both went under it to rest... and I couldn't resist a picture...
