Halloween Party and Neighbors

We went to another Halloween Party today - this time at our library. Since the Bat costumes are so warm - I decided to put the kids in different costumes. So, Syd and Chase went as Illinois Basketball Players!!!!!!

Here is one of our future stars during activity time (activity consisted of decorating cookies - hmm... I wonder if Sydney enjoyed that one?)

Yesterday, we finally got a picture of the kids with the neighbor kids, Alex and Andrew. Sydney and Alex are wearing matching Boston Terrier shirts, and Chase and Andrew have matching BT shirts as well.
(Please note that Andrew is 4 months younger than Chase!!!!! Those Fritz babies are big!)

Lounging....

Starting to get cold!

The weather has taken a turn and its really starting to get chilly. Syd, Chase and Sophie decided to snuggle together on the chair while Syd watched Cinderella. Chase looks thrilled to be hanging out with Sydney!


Later on, Sammy joined in the fun. I can't believe they all hung out like this for awhile!

Weekend continued...

Our visit would not be complete without Papa showing Sydney how to do something. In this case, it was carving a pumpkin. Sydney watches Papa scoop the guts out to make a jack-o-lantern..


And when it was complete and time to go, we had her and Chase pose by her little project!


Once we got back to St. Joe it was time for the neighborhood Halloween party. I went solo for most of it and it was hard to control Syd and Chase with all the madness of kids running around. Lucky for Sydney.. because she went crazy.

She hit up the sweets table like a maniac.. I couldn't believe it. I would try to control her and then I would look and another kid would be giving her a cupcake or candy. It was crazy.. The aftermath pics speak for themselves..

Weekend at Nana and Papa's House

We decided to go over to Nana and Papa's for the weekend since we are going to be moving soon. Chase got in a little R&R with his Dada..


And also got to hang out with Carter Bussies (who is 2 months younger than him).


Syd and Chase also got to take baths with Nana and Papa.. The kids love the whirlpool. We love the kids getting baths from Nana and Papa!!!

Halloween Preview...

We got the kids their Halloween costumes.. Sydney wanted to be a mouse. So, we got the mouse costume, but the head doesn't fit right. The nose hangs down in front of her face. So I decided she would be a bat - like Chase. I still have to post some bat pics - but here are a few of the mouse/bat combo.

And a pic for Bryn. Bryn doesn't like when animal costumes have heads, he thinks that it looks like the animals ate the kids.

Detroit Zoo

The kids and I went to visit Bryn and Al & the Baby Cousins for a weekday overnight trip. We went to the Detroit Zoo and had lots of fun visiting with the girls. Unfortunately, we were so busy juggling 4 kids, that we didn't get hardly any pics!!!! Oh well -next time.

While all the animals were pretty fun to see - the coolest part was the polar bear and seal exhibit. You get to walk underneath the exhibit and you are in a glass tube and the polar bears and seals swim right next to you and over you. Its pretty awesome.

It was a hot Sunday.. So hot that Will had to take his shirt off - which of course meant that Sydney wanted to, as well. Daddy's girl!


Chase had fun just relaxing in the yard with the Terriers.

Chase's new milestone - sitting up by myself! He has been doing it for over a week now :)

Sydney got to briefly see her Uncle B in Kalamazoo. Hopefully we have a cousin visit in the near future!


And what visit to Kazoo would be complete without Papa helping Sydney be a little naughty!

Sydney is enjoying the fall season - especially the Halloween aspect of it. We still don't know what she wants to be.. right now its a hippo, but she has been wanting to be several other things before - so we will see!

Here she is enjoying her first ever Peep! Its was a ghost one. Mama's girl!


And we have two little monkeys jumping on the bed! Neighbor Alex loves to be a part of Syd's naughty antics!


And this is an everyday occurrence at our house. Chase gets SO excited when Will gets home from work. He sure loves his daddy!
