On one of our free mornings, we decided to check out Warwick Castle , which is a medieval castle built by William the Conquerer in 1068 (wiki!).
Sydney enjoyed the cab ride over to the train station..

Upon arrival, its a little bit wet, and I am slowly going downhill

Walking around the grounds.. last pic you will see of Chase and I because shortly after this, I couldn't take the rain and cold and only offering grizzle for lunch and had to bail. Warwick Castle Meltdown.

Sydney posing by an entrance. Sydney had a LOT of fun with her Nana and Papa here.

Another pose...

Silly Papa and Syd!

Normalcy...

Papa getting in his exercise. We don't need gyms while on vacation with two toddlers.

Another pose with her Papa..

How can they be so silly together?

Sydney up in a tower.. like a modern day princess.

Checking the grounds out while taking a brief rest.

Is she the chosen one? Will she be able to remove the sword?

Its not moving, Nana!

A garden on site..

There were a variety of birds of prey that lived there.

Another pose...

And another...

Not exactly Versailles, but still pretty. And the peacock helps with the beauty.

The rarely seen "Nana."

On the way home, back through town...

And Sydney spots some flowers.. and would like to do her favorite thing..

Stop and smell them...

Waiting for the train to go back to B'ham... Two peas in a pod.

I imagine Sydney saying... "But, Papa, Papa, Papa..."

Check out the English Mentos in Syd's pocket. She got to dole them out.
