August 9, 2010 - Pool and Magic Kingdom!

Since Nana only had the morning to hang out, we started off the day by relaxing at the pool with the kids. The pool was a lot of fun for the kids because it had waterfalls and was also shallow enough in places for them to run around by themselves.

Sydney liked to jump in by herself and then climb out. I don't think she was prepared for the sun and the paparazzi after this particular jump.

In again!

After lunch and some naps, we went back to Magic Kingdom for the afternoon. We got to do one of the things Sydney most wanted to: Meet the Princesses.

First up was Sleeping Beauty. She was very patient listening to Sydney talk.

After meeting the princesses, we met up with the Martins! First we went up the Swiss Family Robinson tree. The kids liked climbing up and down the stairs all around the tree.

Even when Sydney tried to get Addy and Lily to join them.

Then the kids got to explore Tom Sawyer's Island. Chase takes his turn on the barrel bridge - that we ended up doing at least 3 times.

Last ride of the day was the cars - I got to go with Addy...

Bryn got to go with Chase.. and Allison got to go with Lily (not pictured!) Papa and Sydney were at the Haunted Mansion for Syd's second time.

The last even of the night was the Electric Parade. The kids LOVED it.

Chase is excited just to be carrying around 3D glasses.
